Sun Sook Kim expresses “hope” with bright paintings. Kim received both her BFA(Bachelor of Fine Art) and MFA(Master of Fine Art) from Hong-Ik University in Seoul, Korea. Her solo show was at Able Fine Art New York Gallery in Manhattan in February 2017. This allowed her to have a successful debut in the US. She had an 11th solo show at Pagus Gallery in Pennsylvania in May 2017. She has been a participant in many International Art Fairs, such as the 2017 Hong Kong International Art Fair, the 2016 Singapore International Art Fair, the 2016 BAMA Busan International Gallery Art Fair, and the 2015 Art n Life Show. Her work has been included in numerous group exhibitions at such venues as GS Tower,The Street Gallery, Hello Museum, Mclean Project for the Arts and Kimi Gallery.
