Korean-New York Artist Association(KNYAA)
Korean-New York Artist Association was founded by Korean-American artists on October 23rd 1993. The first show at the Korean-American Culture Gallery featured the work of 27 artists (OK KUN JOO, OH SEI YOUNG, BONG SOO KIM, JONG SIK LIM, WON SUK KIM). All these artists had one purpose in mind, to establish a fellowship and organization through which Korean-American artists can exchange their vision and create a place for Korean-American art in American culture.

10.05.1994. 30 artists submitted their resume in order to get our certificate of our association.
10.20.1994. The 3rd oversea group show in Spain Madrid State Garden (17 artist participated)
11.11.1994. The 4th Korean-American Group show (Manhattan NY, Ipko Gallery)
01.20.1995. 2nd President SEONG GYUN OH, Chairman BYEONG SEON AN.
05.16.1995. Monumentalize “1995 The Year of New York Art” and honored OK KUN JO Appreciation Plaque.
12.05.1995. The 5th New York Korean-American artist group show at New York Korean Consulate (Korean Culture Gallery)
08.20.1996. Changed name to “Korean New York Artist Association”
10.22.1996. Selected the 3rd President MIHO JEONG. Vice President OK KUN JOO
11.15.1996. The 6th Korean- American Group Show (Total 50 artists participated)
