Selected Highlights
Born and raised in Seoul, Christine Seo immigrated to the USA with her husband and two sons in 2000, first settling in California and later moving to New Jersey.
A graduate of Fine Arts from Seoul Women's University, Christine owned and directed an art academy in Seoul that prepared students for college.
While Christine focuses her oil and watercolor paintings on equine art, she also explores the intersection of Korean culture, portraiture, and nature. She considers renowned artist Roger Armstrong an influential mentor from her time in Laguna Beach.
Christine has exhibited at a variety of venues in Southern California, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, including several solo shows in New York, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. Her work has also received awards from ArtsBridge, the Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club, the Morris Museum, the West Windsor Arts Council, and Winsor & Newton, among others.
