Suzie (Hee Ju) Kim 김희주 is a Korean-American artist whose work has been exhibited throughout New York, New Jersey, Chicago, and internationally. With over a decade of dedicated practice, her work reflects a deep commitment to both personal artistic exploration and arts education, emphasizing community engagement and cross-cultural exchange.

Kim has presented her work in solo and group exhibitions at venues including Riverside Gallery (New Jersey, 2024 solo exhibition), One Art Space (New York, 2022), Englewood Public Library (New Jersey, 2019), and K&P Gallery (New York, 2015–2019). She has also been an active participant in exhibitions organized by the Korean-New York Artist Association (KNYAA) and the Korean American Association of Greater New York (KAAGNY), most recently appearing in the 2025 Spring Art Exhibition and the 2023 KNYAA exhibition at Riverside Gallery.

Her collaborative spirit is further demonstrated through her participation in the 2023 New York–Chicago Korean Art Collaboration and the 2023 K-Art Festival Group Exhibition at Kate Oh Gallery in New York. Kim’s artistic achievements have been recognized with several honors, including the Honorary Recognition Award for Artistic Contributions from the Jersey City Municipal Council (2019), as well as distinction at the 9th Youth Art Award & Invitational Art Exhibition presented by YESAMO (2016). Earlier in her career, she was also selected for the 10th Annual Jersey City Art Award Exhibition (2012).

김희주 작가는 뉴욕, 뉴저지, 시카고를 비롯해 국제적으로 작품을 선보여 온 한국계 미국인 작가이다. 그녀의 예술 활동은 10여 년 이상 이어져 왔으며, 개인 창작 뿐 아니라 지역 사회와 문화 교류에 깊은 기여를 하고 있다.

김 작가는 2024년 뉴져지, 리버사이드 갤러리에서 열린 개인전을 비롯, 뉴욕–시카고 한국 미술 교류전과 뉴욕한인미술협회 주최 뉴욕한인회와 함께한 봄 전시에도 참여, 또한 잉글우드 공립 도서관,  뉴욕 원 아트 스페이스, K&P 갤러리등 다양한 기관에서 단체전에 참여하였다. 

그녀의 예술적 성과는 2019년 저지시티 시의회 예술 공로 표창장을 수여했다.
