Heather Kim is a New York–based visual artist. She studied Oriental painting at Seoul National University and completed graduate-level coursework in art criticism. After relocating to the United States, she worked as a graphic designer for over two decades before fully dedicating herself to fine art. Her practice explores the shifting boundaries between nature and structure, reality and illusion, using traditional hanji, layered brushwork, and symbolic forms. In 2024, she was selected as one of Saatchi Art’s 30 Rising Stars and continues to develop a dynamic practice that bridges traditional and digital media.
