BIOGRAPHY
Soonah Kim is a New York– and New Jersey–based contemporary abstract artist who explores time and space through the repetition and accumulation of small elements. Drawing on her background in both traditional painting and computer art, Kim brings together diverse visual languages in her practice. Her work intuitively combines the human touch of physical painting with the structural logic of digital imagery.

Soonah Kim is a Korean artist whose practice spans both traditional painting and contemporary digital media. She holds degrees from Hongik University, Maryland Institute College of Art, and the School of Visual Arts in New York, where she earned a second MFA in Computer Art. Her work reflects a deep interest in structure, texture, and the emotional resonance of material surfaces.
