Stephanie Kim is a Korean artist known for her contemporary interpretations of traditional Korean ink painting. She works primarily with ink, mineral pigments, and rice paper, creating meditative compositions that explore the emotional resonance of nature and memory.She received both her BFA and MFA in Oriental Painting from Ewha Womans University, and later studied Digital Design at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. A graduate of Sunhwa Arts Middle and High School, Kim has a strong foundation in classical Korean art education.In 1996, she was awarded at The National Art Competition of Korea and also selected for the 1996 MBC Art Exhibition, earning early recognition for her artistic talent.
