Sul Lee Lee is a visual artist and educator based in Fort Lee, NJ. She holds a Master’s degree in Art Education from the Maryland Institute College of Art and a BFA in Painting & Drawing from Kookmin University in South Korea. As the director of Artroom101, she leads an art and design school dedicated to fostering creativity and artistic excellence.
Her work has been recognized in various art awards and exhibitions, including a 2024 solo show at Cafe Leo in Fort Lee and recognition in the 2023 American Art Awards (Pop Art Category). She has also exhibited at Riverside Gallery, Maekang Gallery, and Paris Koh Fine Arts.
Sul Lee Lee specializes in mixed media painting, using non-representational forms to explore the relationship between objects, emotions, and memories. Through her work, she seeks to capture the intangible connections between everyday experiences and abstract expression.
설리 리는 뉴저지 포트리를 기반으로 활동하는 시각 예술가이자 예술 교육자입니다. 국민대학교에서 회화 전공으로 미술학사를 취득하였으며, 메릴랜드 미술대학에서 예술교육 석사 학위를 받았습니다. 현재는 미술 디자인 교육 기관인 아트룸101의 디렉터로서 창의성과 예술적 성장을 중심으로 한 교육 활동을 이어가고 있습니다.
그녀의 작품은 2024년 포트리 카페 레오에서의 개인전을 비롯해 리버사이드 갤러리, 매강 갤러리, 파리 코 파인아트 등에서 전시되었으며, 2023년 아메리칸 아트 어워즈 팝아트 부문에 선정되는 등 다양한 예술상과 전시를 통해 주목받고 있습니다.
그녀는 혼합 매체 회화를 중심으로 사물, 감정, 기억 사이의 관계를 비재현적 형태로 탐구합니다. 그녀의 작업은 일상의 경험 속에서 발생하는 감정적 흔적들을 시각적 언어로 풀어내며, 추상적 표현을 통해 눈에 보이지 않는 내면의 연결성을 포착하려 합니다.
